Have you come across the Chinese proverb “It is the beautiful bird which gets caged” ? Seriously, if you take a stroll in the Bird Park with us, you will understand what it is trying to say. Just look at the beauty of those birds, it's more than enough to take your breath away. But yet the tags on them means they are forever caged, doomed to be on exhibits to Men till the day they breathe their last, with the faint hope that perhaps their sacrifice will bring about an awareness of the beauty Mother Nature has bestowed upon the world and thus, save the lives of their counterparts in the wild before it is too late.
