Imagine you're in a wet market (or supermarket if you prefer it) and you're by a fruit stall. Have you ever stopped to wonder, 'How does this fruit grow? Is it like grapefuits, hanging by the dozens on trees? Or does it follow grapes, which grows in clumps on vines? As a kid, i've always been curious about the nature of the dragonfruit. I would pester my parents to get me one and would meddle with it until i'm satisfied before requesting to consume. Anyways, i shall not bore you with anecdotes of my past but a question that has always been burning in me is, 'What does a dragonfruit plant look like?' (Has that question flashed across anyone's mind? Or is it just the weird kid in me?)
Fortune has it that recently, ARC(S) Enrichment organized an outing to Hay Diaries Goat Farm and wait for it, the Dragonfruit Plantation! I jumped straight in with the prospect of finally answering one of life's mysteries. Well, to cut things short, the trip to the plantation was definitely enriching despite the fact that it wasnT dragonfruit season yet. Take a trip down my memory lane and who knows, you may find fascination beyond your imagination!
